Windows Vs. Mac OS - How to Compare These Two Giants in Computer Operating Systems
As long as some people like Windows OS and others like Mac OS, the debate will never be settled. As long as some people are benefited by either system, they will be preferred by those people. It is going to depend on how you use your computer, because each system has applications that work better on their system. There are advantages of each system, and we from Registry Cleaners will place our focus on those areas.

Compatibility issues are one of the main reasons that people typically choose Windows over Mac. Since Windows is the more popular operating system, a lot of software applications are made to be windows compatible.

Even if a Mac version is created it may operate differently and it's possible that it won't always be compatible. Still, with today's Mac computers, you can easily run Windows through Bootcamp. This means you can run Windows on any recent Mac computer. Windows, though, cannot run Mac and probably won't ever be able to. In the past, when you wanted to put Windows on your Mac you had one option: slow, awkward and unreliable programs like Virtual PC; thankfully this isn't true anymore. Now, when you want to read files or play games that are only made for Windows you can still use your Mac for them.

Beyond price, the primary advantage offered to you by Windows is that it offers you more choices and opportunities for customization. In terms of Mac, you only have one company: Apple. With PC computers, though, there are dozens of different companies that make them and their parts and they range in size and popularity.

The primary advantage of all of these choices is that you can build your computer one piece at a time if you want to. For example, it's possible to go online and both save money and make sure that you get exactly what you are after. There are lots of really great things about Macs, but when you buy one of their computers your only options are pretty much whatever comes in the box.

With the newest Mac OS release: OS X Lion, you have built in security features that will keep you protected when someone wants to steal our laptop or notebook. Remote Wipe is a feature that has been out for a while on the iPhone, but it is new for bigger computers. With this feature you are able to remotely wipe out your whole hard drive if you lose your notebook or laptop or if it gets stolen by someone. When you keep your personal information or sensitive files on your computer, this can give you some honest peace of mind. You will only be able to use this feature with Lion OS as it makes judicious use of the iCloud. There is not yet any Windows based computer that will offer you anything that is comparable. Of course, it will also help if you backup any important data, so that if you ever have to erase your hard drive you won't lose anything important. If you want a computer with Windows, you know where to begin your search, and if you want a Mac, the same is true. There are enough differences between a Mac and a PC, that it should be quite easy to decide which type you would rather have. We've looked at some of the pros and cons of both operating systems, but only you can decide which is right for you.
